Justice League star Ben Affleck was spotted leaving a workout in the top shape he was in for his role as Batman in the DC Extended Universe films.

Ben Affleck’s future as the Caped Crusader in the DC Extended Universe remains the subject of speculation with reports suggesting the actor will step down from the role and hand the Batsuit to a new actor for Matt Reeve’s Batman film. While an official announcement on Ben Affleck’s future with the DCEU has yet to be made, the acclaimed actor and director was recently spotted leaving a workout back in peak shape with an iced coffee in hand.

Of course, Ben Affleck’s successful efforts to stay in shape may be for personal reasons and could have little to do with his role Batman.

Ben Affleck last portrayed the Dark Knight in Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
