Justice League fans have been challenged by DC to create their own Cyborg costume or designs ahead of DC FanDome in August.
While many fans are eagerly waiting to learn more about Zack Snyder’s Justice League at DC FanDome next month, DC and Warner Bros. organized a competition to create a Cyborg costume or art of the hero which will be seen in a virtual gallery before winning an impressive prize. Cyborg star Ray Fisher has recently been outspoken about his role in Justice League, and even called out director Joss Whedon for his behavior on the set of the DC film.
But the competition strives to bring some positivity to the world regarding Justice League, as 27 finalists will be picked from across the submissions. Fans will vote on their favorite pieces of art or cosplay across DC FanDome, and seven winners will be chosen, each winning $1,400 and will be featured across DC FanDome merchandise and marketing. While the focus seems to be on Cyborg for the moment, fans can seemingly enter with art and designs of their favorite DC characters according to the competition summary.
“To celebrate the incredible DC Multiverse, DC invites YOU to participate in a first of its kind, 24-hour global event: DC FanDome! Show us your best DC cosplay or makeup; at home Batcave; Superman shrine; epic comic book collection; DC Comic-inspired tattoos; decorated rooms. We want to see it all – anything from heroes, villains, pets, family, makeup and mashups of imagery from two or more eligible characters. Showcase what makes you DC’s biggest fan and take part in this massive, fan first virtual event.”

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
