Composer Tom Holkenborg AKA Junkie XL’s recent music tease on Twitter was not about the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League.
Yesterday, Junkie XL shared the following video in which he teased a major announcement. Naturally, fans of the DC Extended Universe speculated it was related to the release of the elusive Zack Snyder cut of Justice League:

However, Junkie XL confirmed that what he was teasing was not about the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, but rather a project of he’s been collaborating on with Orchestral Tools on called “Junkie XL Brass.” You can read more information on Junkie XL Brass here.
Junkie XL shared the following tweet, interestingly enough, he used the #SnyderCut hashtag with a winking emoji, hinting that he’s aware of the fans’ campaign for Warner Bros. to release the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League:
Well, it ain't the #SnyderCut 😉, and now I know better to mark November 17 in my calendar… but something ELSE I've been hiding under wraps will finally be available for fellow music makers on December 16th.
I give you:

Yesterday, DCEU fans had a feeling that Junkie XL was teasing something regarding the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League. Plus, with the amount of fuel added to the fire yesterday on the potential release of such version of the film, it isn’t surprising to think it was teasing his score for the film but the timing is purely a coincidence in this occasion.
Junkie XL was the original composer for Justice League returning to work with Zack Snyder after he helped Hans Zimmer on the score for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Following Zack Snyder’s departure from the film, Danny Elfman replaced Junkie XL as the composer.
Would you still like to hear Junkie XL’s original score for Justice League if the Zack Snyder cut of the film gets released? Sound off in the comments below, and be sure to continue following Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on Junkie XL, Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League and the rest of the DCEU.
Here is the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
