‘Justice League’: Rumored LEGO Sets Tease Major Sequences

The upcoming LEGO sets for 'Justice League' may have surfaced online! Hit the jump to check out some unique details about the forthcoming sets.

Zack Snyder Justice League

I simply cannot believe it has taken society until 2017 to finally produce a live-action Justice League film. When you stop and think of such a thing, it should really baffle you too. The upcoming Zack Snyder-directed Justice League movie has been dominating the news in recent months, with its glorious first trailer and badass promotional photos hitting left, right and centre. The marketing-blitz for Justice League is officially in full-swing. Before the world’s greatest superheroes team-up on the big screen, we will be treated to a live-action Wonder Woman film, which hits theatres on June 2nd.

Thanks to The Brick Fan, we have some pretty awesome news about some LEGO sets from Justice League. Now, beware of slight spoilers for the upcoming movie. Nothing listed below should come as too much of a surprise – especially if you have been following the film’s development – but, if you want to go into the movie knowing nothing; look away now!

Spoilers follow:

The LEGO-based website had the following Justice League sets listed on their website, with prices alongside them:

  • Battle of Atlantis (76085) – $19.99
  • Justice League Knightcrawler (76086) – $49.99
  • Justice League Flying Fox (76087) – $129.99

Now, I have no idea how legitimate these LEGO sets are, but, let’s say they are real; it is super-important to remember that just because a set has been made, does not mean it will appear in the film. Of course, fans of Iron Man Three would remember this particularly well, as one of the film’s LEGO sets included a battle between Iron Man and Ben Kingsley’s The Mandarin; something we never saw on-film.

All things considered, the sets listed above do sound rather legitimate. And, as seen in the trailer, Atlantis – and Aquaman – will play a major role in this film. Of course, this does make a lot of sense, considering the King of Atlantis is the next DC hero to receive a standalone adventure, following Justice League in 2018.

What do you guys think? Are you excited for Justice League? Do these sets give you a clearer idea for how Snyder’s film will go-down?

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and the Flash (Ezra Miller) — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League hits theatres everywhere on November 17.
