‘Justice League’ Teaser Trailer Debuts At SDCC

Justice League banner

During the Warner Bros panel at San Diego Comic-Con a large focus of the event was all things DC related. Including a brand new trailer for Wonder Woman and our first look at Justice League!

The trailer gives us a look at the formation of the Justice League, including new footage of Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Ezra Miller (Barry Allen/The Flash). From what this footage showcases, it appears that Justice League will feature a different tone compared to that of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Watch the teaser trailer here:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.  Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.  But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Amber Heard, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons, Willem Dafoe and Julian Lewis Jones, Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.

Warner Bros. featured a variety of films during their San Diego Comic-Con panel including a final look at Suicide Squad and a brand new Wonder Woman trailer!

What do you think of the teaser trailer? Are you more excited now to see Justice League? Comment below and let’s talk about everything from the Warner Bros. panel, including the brand new picture of the entire Justice League united for the first time!

Was that a lil’ hint of tongue n’ cheek humor????
Looks like dceu is takin’ a few lessons from big sister, MARVEL.

  • Marquis de Sade

I would imagine Sammy-rai is currently on his 20th viewing while simultaneously splooging his batman briefs.
I’m happy for him. He deserves a lil’ happiness.

    • w0undedmagic

I just hope you can afford the statues for the rest of the League to put next to your BvS Deluxe Blu Ray Statue.???

You must really be a sad, lonely person. I could almost feel bad for you….but I don’t.

      • Marquis de Sade

        ok.

        • w0undedmagic

          Ok’

      • SAMURAI36

I can’t see who it is you’re talking to, since I mow have whomever it is blocked. But judging by your statement, I can only imagine the nonsense they said.
Anyways, the trailer looks awesome. Between JL, WW, & the final SS trailers, I’m in heaven right mow, & there’s nothing these &$$-clowns can say to change that.

        • w0undedmagic

It’s our apostrophe’ abusin’ trollin’ friend Marquis de Sadfan.

Yea man, between the WW and JL trailer, I couldn’t be happier with DC/WB’s content. I loved BvS for its dark themes, but I’m perfectly fine with a variety of flavors for these movies.

Also- The Flash! I really like CW and Grant Gustin’s take-but hopefully now all those people whining about the movies not crossing over with the shows, can appreciate what looks to be a pitch-perfect reinterpretation from Ezra Miller. My only nitpick is cyborg looks kind of awkward, but they are definitely still working on the CGI. So pumped!

          • JMMagwood

MDS isn’t serious. Mostly, he seems to have a weird thing for Samurai, but at times, besides that, he’s had a few decent posts. I don’t get trying to plague one of the few unapologetic DC hardcore partisans, in the face of countless Marvel maniacs who are far worse than Sam, but there you go..

Anyway, I don’t know if what Miller’s doing is familiar to me as Barry Allen, comics, or TV, but one thing is certain: I sure liked him. I already love the interaction between Bruce Wayne and everyone. Great, great stuff.

          • w0undedmagic

Serious or not, the guy is a bonafide troll. He/It’s apostrophe fueled ramblings aren’t even remotely entertaining. He/It is an idiot, and will be treated as such.

            But anyway-
I get what you’re saying about Ezra’s take-he’s more Wally then Barry. However, that’s not really new. Bruce Timm’s animated series have long combined the characters (ie Barry’s name, Wally’s sense of humor). It also just makes sense to have Flash be the lighthearted one in a room full of stoic, damaged heroes.

          • SAMURAI36

You could do what I did, and block him.

          • Marquis de Sade

Have you been gettin’ enuff fiber in your diet, w0mbwithaview? – Btw, I didn’t hate the jla trailer. I’m rather happy dceu is payin’ more attention to their big sister, MARVEL.
Oh, and please feel free to relay to Sammy-rai that I’m glad he’s happy, but fer gosh sakes, please impress upon him to don’t get too excited, cuz I’d hate for him to relive the traumatic letdown of the bvs debacle. The trailers to that dreck looked so promisin’, and then WHAM!, the bottom fellout with the quickness…It hurt my heart to witness lil’ sammy-rai waste so much energy defendin’ the indefensible.

          • w0undedmagic

Yea, that’s the second time you’ve made the fiber “joke”. Maybe when you’re done admiring your BvS statue you can come up with some new material. But don’t worry about my diet, I’m in tip top shape. Also, I don’t actually care if you liked the JL trailer or not. And one more thing-your obsession with Samurai is not only weird, but it really proves just how boring and lonely your day-to-day must be. Like I said, I could ALMOST pity you, but then I remind myself that you probably got your name from some lame Assassin’s Creed game instead of an actual history book-to which I have a hearty laugh at the expense of your obvious insignificance. Now get back to slammin’ that apostrophe key before it cools down.???

          • Marquis de Sade

I keep mentioning your diet, due to your sour disposition…Too much sodium and sugar creates mood spikes that can have an adverse effect on your blood pressure and heart rate. I just want you around long enuff to witness dceu’s “eventual” induction to the billion dollar club…or at least to bear witness to another dceu artistic/financial failure so I can get my jollies.

          • w0undedmagic

I’m not at all sour. I’m not the one trolling every article throwing shade at every movie. I’m excited for all the new Marvel AND DC stuff coming out, and I couldn’t care less about how much money they make, as long as I’m entertained. It’s really that simple. But if you get your “jollies” off by artistic/financial failures I guess you’re even more sad and pathetic than I could have imagined. Also, paying top dollar for that BvS statue combo is pretty counter-productive to your cause. ??Hahaha what an IDIOT.

          • JMMagwood

I understand where you’re coming from, and I can’t really defend him, but I do think, at times, he’s said some stuff worthy of discussion. I think if he gave up the schtick, and stopped baiting people, he’s be a worthy contributor here, but I guess if all the trolls did that, the net would be an awesome place for the first time in almost thirty years (yeah, I’m that old lol).

          • JMMagwood

I agree with you regarding Miller’s Allen, after watching it again. All I can really say is, I really like where this is going with all the characters. It exciting, and it feels right.

          • SAMURAI36

Speaking of which… Is it me, or was this site really trying their best to trump (no pun) up the Marvel news on here, and downplay the DC news?

For the better part of the Con, the DC news was almost non-existent.

Color me biased (and I fully own that), but HH could really use some writers that cover the blue side of the aisle more often.

          • JMMagwood

It seems like the news is reasonably balanced, but I only (mostly) check out the DC stuff and a few scattered other items, so I don’t pay much attention much of the Marvel stuff at this point. None of it seems fresh to me, but I’ll pay attention when they start posting more stuff about Infinity War and Defenders. Marvel’s CM, Spider Man, and Ghost Rider hold zero appeal and interest for me, so I just go right past them, really. The DC movie stuff has captured most of my attention at moment, so that’s what I look for. If there is an imbalance, I haven’t noticed it.

          • SAMURAI36

Absolutely. WB/DC delivered on every front this year.

        • JMMagwood

Man, no denying that DC is pretty much dominating the media attention the last couple years, with no end in sight. I didn’t even expect the JL trailer. I’m completely blown away. Wow. Just wow.

          • SAMURAI36

Yeah man, this SDCC definitely felt like a smorgasbord of DC goodness. I wouldn’t be surprised, if WB didn’t just buy out SDCC from here on out.

And I hate (well, not really, LOL) to be that guy, but Marvel barely showed up this year. Very little they did stood out.

Comics: look, yet ANOTHER “vs” event. This time, with Inhumans and X-Men. And comments on most comic sites have been completely underwhelmed by this. Meanwhile, DC’s Rebirth is the talk of the town.

TV: A 3rd-rate Ghost Rider on AoShit? Really?? This gained ZERO attention. The only thing that’s of merit for them, is the announcement of the Defenders, and Luke Cage (the latter of which looked underwhelming to me, but whatever). Meanwhile, every single DCTV show was showcased, and with a huge buzz.

Video Games: Uhmm, yeah…. Nothing from Marvel on that front. Meanwhile, Injustice 2 brought down the house, with the 1-2 punch of the revival of the accompanying hit comic.

Animation: Wow, Marvel announced that crummy New Avengers cartoon, with the horrible animation. Yeah, okay. Meanwhile, DC announced JL-Action, as well as not one, but THREE new, highly anticipated, animated movies.

Movies: Okay, so we got the new Dr Strange trailer, which was…. decent enough, even though the graphics felt a bit done-before in an Inception-esque sort of way. Moving onto Thor… So, this is Planet Hulk thrown in for good measure? Yeah, okay. Is anyone really overwhelmed by the Captain Marvel news? And ooohhh, they showcased the shiny new movie logo. That’ll but the buts in seats.

Meanwhile, on the blue side of the aisle…. DC took our breath away, not once, but THREE times, with the SS, WW and JL trailers. Minds: blown.

Man, the times, methinks they are a’changin’.

          • Carl

Marvel killed it this comic con. There is huge buzz for Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Baby Groot / GOTG 2, Spiderman, and that amazing Dr. Strange trailer.

DC is getting a mixed reaction to the Justice League trailer. I thought it was bad. Flash’s costume looks like a Power Ranger suit. Cyborg is a busy over stylized CGI mess. Ezra Miller is awkward. The jokes were all flat. Ironically, Aquaman came off as the coolest part.

          • SAMURAI36

You’re lying. You know how I can tell? Because you’re talking about what YOU liked, and now what was actually trending.

I’d tell you to prove what you’re saying, but we all know that you can’t.

Meanwhile, Marvel didn’t even have half the content that DC had this year (Marvel=22, vs DC=125) and every year, Marvel’s content dwindles, while DC’s increases exponentally.

Feel free to not believe me, here’s the proof:

            http://www.dccomics.com/blog/2016/07/20/san-diego-comic-con-2016-all-the-latest-news?adid=dchero1_DC-at-San-Diego-Comic-Con

            vs:

            http://www.comic-con.org/cci/programming-schedule

Second, their comics panels were limited, and many people were walking out of the panels this year, out of discontent for Marvel’s comics line.

The 3rd-rate Ghost Rider on a failing show like AoShit really hasn’t garnerd much interest with the audience.

            http://community.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?82095-SDCC-quot-Agents-of-SHIELD-quot-Revs-Up-for-Ghost-Rider-with-Fiery-Teaser-Car-Reveal

            http://www.bleedingcool.com/2016/07/22/ghost-rider-confirmed-for-agents-of-shield-in-teaser-during-panel/

            Where’s the “buzz” for this?

And that wack-&$$ “Secret Wars” cartoon is getting slammed on practically every site:

            http://community.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?82160-SDCC-Marvel-Announces-Animated-quot-Secret-Wars-quot-Skottie-Young-Style-quot-Rocket-amp-Groot-quot

            http://www.bleedingcool.com/2016/07/23/marvel-announces-secret-wars-the-tv-show-with-ms-marvel-captain-marvel-black-panthr-and-jane-fosters-thor/

            Where’s the “buzz” for that?

Since GOTG didn’t release any trailer footage, then there’s no buzz to even be generated there.

Larson as Captain Marvel is getting okay buzz, but not groundbreaking as you are trying to make it seem:

            http://community.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?82206-SDCC-Marvel-Officially-Names-Brie-Larson-as-quot-Captain-Marvel-quot

            http://www.bleedingcool.com/2016/07/23/brie-larson-has-been-confirmed-as-captain-marvel/

            Where’s the buzz on this?

So you can keep trying to tell that story (i.e. LIE) all you want. Marvel got crushed by DC, just like they did last year, and the year before that.

            Deal with it.

          • JMMagwood

Good post, but you know now that lonely Carl is never worth the effort. All he could come up with was BABY GROOT. lol He’s so desperate for attention that he’s down to this. Laugh, enjoy, and move on. That wasn’t even trolling. I don’t know what you’d call it.

          • SAMURAI36

LMFAO, I’m dying over “Baby Groot”. Look, I’m all for rooting for one’s team, but man, what a sad sack.

          • Carl

Ha ha you get so riled up. Marvel had an amazing SDCC. DC had a good showing too but they dropped the ball with their biggest asset, Justice League. That trailer was bad. Sure some people liked it but then people also liked the weak BvS trailers and we all know how bad that movie turned out. This looks like more hyper stylized, awful dialogue, Synder work.

          • SAMURAI36

So in other words, you have no point? Just talking out the side of your &$$? Got it.

          • Carl

My point is always clear. Remember that you have a comprehension problem.

          • SAMURAI36

Listen up genius…..Just because YOU say I have a reading comprehension problem, doesn’t mean that I actually do.

And I hope you don’t think you’re Jedi Mind Tricking me into thinking something about myself that’s not true. You’re not smart enough to pull something like that off.

And stop trying to psych yourself into thinking that your posts are so avante-garde. You’re the most pedestrian person I’ve seen online in a long time, by a wide margin.

If I were you, I’d go back to making economic contributions to Donald Trump, & praising Baby Groot.

          • w0undedmagic

            Jesus Christ, Bobby…I mean, Carl.

          • Carl

            I don’t know that reference.

          • w0undedmagic

Question for all the Carls in the world: When you accuse the Flash suit of looking like a Power Ranger, are you referring to the new PR movie-which you’ve already accused of ripping off Iron Man? Are you saying the Flash looks like Iron Man? Or are you referring to the original PR tv series which look nothing like this armored Flash suit? OR are you just trying to be a trendy hipster fvcktard and repeat what you’ve read other people say? Nvm, just answered my own question- Thanks Carls!

          • Carl

Looks just like the new Power Ranger suit and nothing like Iron Man.

          • w0undedmagic

Yea but everyone is saying the new Power Rangers suits are an Iron Man ripoff. So which is it then? Also, the Flash’s suit is ripped right from Injustice. You don’t have to like it, but you damn sure can’t argue it. The PR comparison is just another hollow criticism from self loathing fans. I’m just glad I don’t have to live like you guys, in a state of endless disappointment for the things you claim to be a “fan” of. If something doesn’t appeal to me, I just move on-but we both know you will be regurgitating the same negativity for the next YEAR (just like BvS). It’s just such bizarre behavior I’ll never [want to] understand.

Power Ranger suits look cool to me, and the Flash suit looks GREAT. The trailer was the perfect tease, IMO.

          • Carl

But it looks like the Power Ranger suit… so that’s my criticism. I’ll give them a break when they make a good trailer or movie. I’m sorry I’m not some blind fool who accepts whatever crap is thrown my way. MoS and BvS were bad, this looks the same.

SS and WW look pretty good, hopefully they save the DCEU.

          • w0undedmagic

You’re missing my point, Carl. None of your criticisms are YOURS. They’re just copy/pasted from the bowels of twitter and AICN. Derrr looks bad, derrr power rangers suit derrr. Like YOU had the UNIQUE thought that he looks like a Power Ranger pffff. You’ve never said a single contructive thing in these forums. You just piggyback on other trolls’ potshots. Sometimes funny, always annoying.

          • Carl

It’s my criticism, I came up with it when I saw the suit for the first time. You have no point.

          • SAMURAI36

You accept the nonsense from Marvel, so there’s that.

          • Carl

            What nonsense?

          • Carl

Marvel is the media darling, sorry. They killed it this comic con. Everyone is talking about Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Baby Groot / GOTG 2 and that amazing Dr. Strange trailer.

          • JMMagwood

lol Yeah, okay Carl.. Sure… lol

          • Carl

Thanks for agreeing with the truth. :)

  • Foreign Geek

Batman is putting together a team….sounds they are trying to rob a casino. lol.

wow! not bad, not bad at all.

    “I’m putting together a team…….

    I keeed!! I keeed!!!

    I like it.

A bit torn about Cyborg’s suit that looks needlessly busy, as well as Asperger’s Barry….

but other than that… not too bad.

    • Darthmanwe

That’s not Asperger’s, that’s his mind switching on and off speed mode and him trying to control it, coming across as jumpy in the process.

  • Steve Steve

Cool. Whatever complaints against Zack Snyder (fair or otherwise), the man cuts an incredible trailer!

    • Carl

I thought it was pretty flat and lackluster.

  • JMMagwood

lol Some headcase is floating around here talking about BABY GROOT being the big thing about Comicon in the face of three amazing DCE trailers… I get being a hater, but in this case, why even bother? Anyway, I actually got a sincere good, full laugh from that… Thanks!

    • SAMURAI36

Yeah, these are some fools around here. Check out the post I recently made about it.
