‘Justice League’ Cinematographer Confirms Zack Snyder Cameo

Justice League cinematographer Fabian Wagner has confirmed yet another cameo from director Zack Snyder in the DC film universe.

Justice League cinematographer Fabian Wagner has confirmed yet another cameo from director Zack Snyder in the DC film universe.

Snyder has been known to pop up in recent DC films including twice in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice where the director’s hand was seen holding a cell phone in a shot believed to Ben Affleck’s, and another scene where Snyder held a light that was used to simulate headlights in a shot of Superman. He also appeared as a soldier in the background of the iconic photograph seen taken in Wonder Woman.

While speaking to Comic Films M.D., Wagner revealed he wished he had gotten into the bat suit in the background of a shot in Justice League when he confirmed Snyder’s appearance in the film:

“Should have done that but I’m too small for that. Ben is really big and very strong and he’s a lot taller than me so it wouldn’t have worked [laughs]. I wouldn’t have fit into the bat suit but that would have been really cool. Zack had a cameo in one of the shots, he’s sitting in a cafe.”

The film stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.

“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”

Justice League is now playing. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Zack Snyder and the DC Extended Universe!
