Kang the Conqueror makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the new Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer.
Marvel dropped the second trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania during tonight’s College Football National Championship Game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the TCU Horned Frogs. The sneak peek teases the “beginning of a new dynasty” as Jonathan Majors transforms into Kang, with the villain going up against Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp.
In addition to the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer, Marvel has also revealed a couple of stunning posters for the movie, showcasing its titular heroes and Kang.

A variant of He Who Remains from the Disney Plus series Loki, Kang serves as the main villain of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania before taking on an even larger role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel has already confirmed that Majors is set to return as the villainous character for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
The Ant-Man series evolves
Fittingly enough, Paul Rudd’s standalone Ant-Man movies have been small in scale compared to other solo films in the MCU. However, given Scott Lang’s integral role in Endgame, he has since become a vital part of the Avengers, and his contributions involving science thanks to his collaboration with Hope Van Dyne and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) have certainly been integral. Now that Kang the Conqueror is involved, it’s safe to say that this will be Lang’s biggest threat yet.
Directed by Peyton Reed from a script written by Jeff Loveness, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania also features Michelle Pfeiffer and Bill Murray. The film is currently slated to hit theaters on February 17, 2023.
