Marvel has released a new trailer for Agatha All Along, giving fans a fresh look at the highly anticipated WandaVision spin-off series. Starring Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, the series is set to premiere on Disney+ on September 18, 2024. The trailer, which premiered during Disney’s D23 Expo, showcases Hahn’s return to the role that quickly became a fan favorite.
Agatha All Along picks up where WandaVision left off, exploring Agatha’s complex history and her place within the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe. The trailer hints at a blend of dark humor and supernatural elements, staying true to the tone that made WandaVision such a success.
What to expect from Agatha All Along
Agatha All Along is being developed by Jac Schaefer, who served as head writer and executive producer of WandaVision. Schaefer was also one of the writers behind the hit Marvel films Captain Marvel and Black Widow.
In addition to Kathryn Hahn, Agatha All Along also stars Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caulfield, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, Kate Forbes, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman and Kate Forbes. Jac Schaeffer, Gandja Monteiro, and Rachel Goldberg are directing the series.
“The infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell,” teases the official synopsis. “Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…”
In addition to Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, another spin-off series focusing on The Vision is also currently in the works at Marvel Studios. With multiple spin-offs in development, WandaVision fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming years.
