Disney Plus is developing a WandaVision spin-off series focused on Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness.

After stealing the show in WandaVision as the witch Agatha Harkness, Variety has learned that Kathryn Hahn is set to return as the devilish character for her own Marvel series. Plot details for the series are under wraps, though it is expected to be a dark comedy. WandaVision‘s head writer Jac Schaeffer would write and executive produce the series for Disney Plus, should it be commissioned.

The writer recently signed an overall deal with Disney which would require Schaeffer to write more Marvel shows for Disney Plus for the next three years. The WandaVision spin-off is set to be the first to come to fruition from the overall deal.

The last time we saw Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness, she had been trapped in Westview as the nosy neighbor Agnes, unable to return as the powerful witch. Hahn’s portrayal of Agatha took the internet by storm and ultimately landed the actress a Best Supporting Actress In A Limited Series nomination at this year’s Emmys. Just two weeks ago the actor expressed interest in returning as Agatha, so it’s quite exciting to see a spin-off series in the works.

Here is the synopsis for WandaVision:

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Matt Shakman directed the series with Jac Schaeffer as the lead scribe with Kevin Feige producing. WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Evan Peters as Ralph Bohner, and Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness. The series is available to stream on Disney Plus.
