Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw almost featured an appearance by John Wick star Keanu Reeves opposite Dwayne Johnson.
Dwayne Johnson’s Hobbs and Shaw expanded the Fast & Furious universe by introducing several new characters who were seemingly set up for future installments on the spin-off. However, while it ultimately never came to pass, Hobbs and Shaw very nearly appearance by John Wick star Keanu Reeves as well. While details on the nature of his planned appearance were not provided, The Hollywood Reporter’s Aaron Couch notes that Keanu Reeves was so close to making an appearance that the filmmakers considered shooting material with the John Wick star during the post-production phase of Hobbs and Shaw.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw will be released in theaters on August 2, 2019, while Keanu Reeves’ John Wick: Chapter 3 will be available on digital download starting August 23, 2019, followed by a Blu-ray 4K UHD and DVD release on September 10.
Henry Cavill’s ‘The Witcher’ Debuts New Poster & First Look Photos
Netflix has released a brand new poster for the Henry Cavill series The Witcher along with a slew of first look photos.
A stunning poster for the upcoming Netflix series The Witcher made its debut this morning, featuring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. In addition, Netflix also dropped the first official photos of Anya Cholatra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri as well as two more stills that offer fans a fresh look at Geralt.

Based on the fantasy series of novels and short stories by Andrzej Sapkowski, Netflix’s The Witcher will follow the monster slayer for hire named Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill). Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich will also serve as an executive producer on the series while Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez and Charlotte Brändström are on board as directors for the eight-episode first season.

The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Aretuza, and Millie Brady as Princess Renfri, with Mimi Ndiweni and Therica Wilson-Read as novice sorcerers.
