Kevin Smith’s ‘The Flash’ Episode Is Titled ‘Killer Frost’

The Flash will be getting another visit from geeky filmmaker Kevin Smith in the third season after he directed his first episode in Season 2. Earlier today, Smith tweeted out the title page of the script for 3.07 which is starting production today in Vancouver, Canada, While the title is hidden by a pen, if you look very, very closely at the top through the page, you can see the line “307 – “Killer Frost”.

What this means for Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) remains to be seen as we saw her Earth-2 version last season as the villainous ice queen who got murdered by Zoom (Teddy Sears) towards the end of the season. Could this mean that we will see our Earth-1 version of Caitlin become her comic book counterpart after all? Anything is possible with this show, but it’s safe to assume that in one way or another, this episode will most likely be a very heavy Caitlin episode. This is also the last episode before the big crossover event between The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl.

“Blinded by anger, Barry unwittingly plays into Zoom’s game and uncovers the evil speedster’s true goal: to destroy all Earths in the multiverse. In the race of his life, Barry ultimately gets the upper hand against Zoom and defeats his nemesis. But unable to celebrate victory, Barry makes a world-shaking decision and speeds back in time to the night his mother died to stop Reverse Flash from killing her, irrevocably changing his past and redetermining his future.”

The Flash Season 3 is set to kick-off on Tuesday, October 4 at 8/7c on The CW with the Season 3 premiere titled “Flashpoint”.
