Latest ‘The Eternals’ Set Pictures Feature Kit Harington & Gemma Chan

New photos from the set of the Marvel Studios epic The Eternals show Kit Harington and Gemma Chan filming a scene.

The Eternals is one of the many Marvel Studios projects currently in production. The project started filming in the United Kingdom this past Summer, so the end of the shoot appears to be near. There have been various looks at Angelina Jolie, Richard Maddon, and Gemma Chan over the course of production, but none of Kit Harington until recently.

The latest photos from the set of The Eternals offered fans a first look at Kit Harington’s Black Knight in civilian clothes. In these pictures, Kit Harington is seen with Gemma Chan’s Sersi and it appears they will be an item in the upcoming film like the comics. Now even more set snaps from The Eternals featuring Kit Harington and Gemma Chan have surfaced online, courtesy of Just Jared and Twitter. You can see the set pictures for yourself below.

In the comics, the Eternals are a fictional evolutionary offshoot of humanity who possess superpowers and longer lifespans than normal humans. Created by the Celestials over a million years ago, the superpowered beings were the result of genetic experiments that led to the creation of two divergent races: The Eternals and The Deviants.

Often defending Earth from their monstrous counterparts, the Eternals became embroiled in a civil war amongst themselves over whether or not they should conquer the other races. One faction was led by Kronos and the other by his warlike brother named Uranos, with Kronos’ side ultimately winning the conflict while Uranos and his followers were exiled.

Directed by Chloé Zhao from a script written by Matthew K. Firpo and Ryan Firpo, The Eternals stars Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kit Harington, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, and Barry Keoghan.

The Eternals will be released in theaters on November 6, 2020.
