Kit Harington Reveals What He Kept From ‘Game Of Thrones’ Set

Kit Harington Game of Thrones HBO

As the final season of Game of Thrones gets closer to premiering, its stars are beginning to say farewell to the show and the characters they’ve played for eight consecutive years. Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, is doing just that and then some: he’s revealed which item he’s keeping from the set.

The first trailer for the final season showed Harington’s Jon Snow, along with his sisters Arya (Maisie Williams) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) exploring the the crypts within Winterfell. It is here where they come across statues of themselves, which seem to be foreboding of death. According to an interview with The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, Harington is keeping his statue:

“I kept that statue. You know, the one in the crypt. I kept it, they sent it to my house. So I’ve got it in my shed. How sad is that? I was the only one who kept their statue that’s how narcissistic I am.”

Harington jokingly said that he wanted to make make his statue into more of a water feature, possibly as a fountain on his estate. See the full interview below:

In the meantime, we’ll keep you posted on the HBO series’s final season as the details come in.
