Sony Pictures has unveiled the synopsis its Marvel movie Kraven the Hunter. The description strongly suggests that the studio is laying the groundwork for the notorious villain to face off against Spider-Man.
Kraven the Hunter features Aaron Taylor Johnson in the titular role. The film’s synopsis, which is now available on the official Sony website, hints that it will lay the foundations for the infamous rivalry between Kraven and Spider-Man.

Though it’s not clear when Kraven will eventually cross paths with Spider-Man, or which version of the web-slinger he’ll face, the name drop assures audiences that the momentous encounter is in the works.
This comes following the release of the official Kraven the Hunter trailer, which spotlighted Aaron Taylor Johnson’s depiction of the iconic Marvel antagonist. Known for his roles in Kick-Ass and Avengers: Age of Ultron, Johnson steps into the shoes of Kraven, providing audiences their first glimpse of him in the role of Sergei Kravinoff.
