Season 5 of Legends of Tomorrow is set to hit The CW just next month, which means we finally have our first solid look at what’s next for our favourite bunch of heroes. The trailer for Legends of Tomorrow is filled with countless gems that reminds us why Legends of Tomorrow is one of most fun and innovative shows in the Arrowverse. From its visuals to comedy, the show never fails to constantly surprise us. Now, Legends of Tomorrow is making us feel as nostalgic as ever.
In the trailer, we get our obligatory looks at Brandon Routh, who plays Ray Palmer in Legends of Tomorrow. Of course, Brandon Routh is also rocking his Superman suit. However, one suit that we didn’t expect Brandon Routh to be wearing was the iconic Mister Rogers red sweater. That’s right, amidst all the chaotic action in the Legends of Tomorrow trailer, Brandon Routh is seen parodying Mister Rogers.

15 Seconds into the trailer, we cut away from the action and are introduced to a children’s television drama titled “Mister Parker’s Cul De Sac”, an obvious riff on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. Brandon Routh enters into a house that parodies the Mister Rogers set and begins to put on the iconic red sweater. All settled in, Brandon Routh breaks into a song introducing his house, just like Mister Rogers did when we were kids. We then cut away to a little girl excited to see Brandon Routh’s take on Mister Rogers, before we get some more typical Legends of Tomorrow action. In the trailer, we also see Brandon Routh trang in his Mister Rogers red sweater for the Kryptonian Superman suit.

Crisis On Infinite Earths will span two quarters and consist of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. The Arrowverse crossover will launch with three episodes in December before concluding with two additional episodes in January.
