The CW Releases A Sizzle Reel For ‘DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow’ Return

Legends of tomorrow

Following last nights episode, the CW has released a brand new sizzle real for the upcoming return for ‘DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow,’ which is set to return in two weeks on March 31st.

What is most surprising is that this new “Return Sizzle” reel doesn’t seem to actually contain any new footage from upcoming episodes, but it does seemingly raise some new questions about the future episodes. The 75 second long video features each of the main cast performing heroic poses, but the curious inclusion of Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) leads many to believe his questionable fate may not be what many had suspected.

Earlier today The CW announced that DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was one of 11 shows that officially received an early renewal, confirming that the show would indeed continue on to a second season. With recent comments from cast, crew, and show-runners, the show is likely to break its current mold with its second season and return with a new group of heroes following its season finale. Rumors have even suggested that characters like John Constantine, Connor Hawke (who both appeared on Arrow earlier this season), and even possibly Jonah Hex could be included in its season 2 return.

With its current season of 16 ordered episodes at its halfway mark, DC fans can expect to still have a few twists and turns along the way, including the long awaited live-action television debut of Jonah Hex in his upcoming April episode.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will return to air on Thursday, March 31 at 8PM.
