Although Season 2 of Legends Of Tomorrow still has a way to go before the finale, one of the show’s key developers has revealed that production on the second-to-last episode is underway – and that it emphasizes that the Legion Of Doom are on the rise.

The episode’s cast includes Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance / White Canary, Franz Drameh as Jefferson Jackson/Firestorm, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen, Amy Pemberton as Gideon, Nick Zano as Nate Heywood, and Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory. While no Legion Of Doom cast have been confirmed for the episode, their presence is almost completely assured given the episode’s title and its nature as the last episode before the Season 2 finale.
It remains to be seen what kind of effect the constant time-travel of both the Legion Of Doom and the Legends Of Tomorrow will have on the future (along with the past and present, for that matter), although this will likely be addressed in the finale as well as the recently-ordered Season 3 of the show.
