New LEGO Batman Ultimate Batmobile Set Unveiled

A brand new 'The LEGO Batman Movie' set called "The Ultimate Batmobile" has been officially announced in honor of the release of the new film.

The LEGO Batman Movie has finally hit theaters, and much like the first LEGO Movie, fans are adoring it. The sheer joy of seeing the Caped Crusader lovingly skewered in this hilarious and surprisingly touching tribute will hopefully hint at even more LEGO spinoff films in the near future.

But of course, part of the appeal of LEGO is the fun of piecing together the many different sets that continue to become more ambitious and exciting for fans of many properties. And thankfully, fans have yet another new set to be excited about. For fans of the Batmobile (or every iteration of the iconic vehicle), LEGO is now releasing “The Ultimate Batmobile” as featured in the new film.

This set will include eight minifigures: Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Polka-Dot Man on a flying disc, Alfred (donning a Batsuit), the Wicked Witch of the West and two Flying Monkeys. This Batmobile also divides into four different vehicles: the Batmobile, the Batwing, the Bat-Tank and the Batcycle. Also included with the set is a rotating Bat-Signal. “The Ultimate Batmobile” will be released on June 1 and will be sold at $129.99.

Collectors have yet another LEGO Batmobile to add to their collection. This new vehicle will standout wonderfully alongside the previous iterations of one of the most iconic vehicles in pop culture history. Are you planning on picking this one up? Sound off in the comments below.

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: “The LEGO Batman Movie.” But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

The LEGO Batman Movie is now in theaters.
