LEGO Dimensions: ‘LEGO Batman Movie’ & ‘Knight Rider’ DLC Revealed

A lucky day for LEGO Batman fans as Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed that three new expansion packs will be making their way to LEGO Dimensions. The new downloadable content will include The LEGO Batman Movie Story Pack, Excalibur Batman Fun Pack, and the Knight Rider Fun Pack.

First, The LEGO Batman Movie Story Pack is is being released in coordination with The LEGO Batman Movie, and will offer six levels of gameplay that will boast multiple DC Comics characters. This pack will include multiple features such as Robin and Batgirl who can join you on missions. Second, the Excalibur Batman Fun Pack allows players to use Batman’s Master Builder and Sword Switching abilities to battle enemies and solve crimes in a way only the caped crusader can. And last, but not least, The Knight Rider Fun Pack is based on Michael Knight and the artificially intelligent car KITT from the 80s TV series, Knight Rider, which starred David Hasselhoff in the lead role.

All three packs will feature a few figures and vehicles that can be built, customised, and re-built into others. They will also include access to the The LEGO Batman Movie and Knight Rider Adventure Worlds, each equipped with their own unique Battle Arenas.

LEGO has truly taken great steps in the development of their big franchise games over the last few years. Based on big franchises such as DC Comics, Marvel, Jurassic World, The Hobbit, and Star Wars – to name a few – LEGO video games are once again becoming a household name. Once thought of as games “made just for kids”, they now serve a purpose for gamers of all ages, with intriguing story lines and surprisingly immersive puzzles that could leave you baffled for hours.

Developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, LEGO Dimensions is now available on current gen systems such as Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Wii U, as well as last gen consoles PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The expansions will be available on February 10, 2017. However, the Excalibur pack (Target) and Knight Rider pack (GameStop) will both be released in North America first.
