Many on the internet are now calling for Liam Neeson to be completely removed from the upcoming film Men In Black: International following highly controversial remarks the actor made during a press junket for his new film Cold Pursuit.
The 62-year-old action star appeared on Good Morning America yesterday to clarify the situation and his comments:
“The lady journalist was asking, ‘How do you tap into that?’ and I remembered an incident nearly 40 years ago when a friend of mine was brutally raped I was out of the country and when I came back she told me about this … I had never felt this feeling before which was a primal urge to lash out.”
Liam Neeson sought to lash out by taking to the streets every night, hoping that a black person would assault him so that he could kill him.
As Fox News recently pointed out, the internet has been ablaze with its own anger towards Liam Neeson and seeking its own retribution by calling for the actor to be cut from Men In Black: International:
You can literally hear Liam Neeson evaporating from all the upcoming Men in Black International marketing.

I guess Sony pictures will soon be hiring Christopher Plummer to replace Liam Neeson in the upcoming Men In Black reboot.#LiamNeeson

How will this all play out? Will Sony keep Liam Neeson in Men In Black: International? Or will the studio give the actor the boot? I have a feeling we will find out sooner rather than later.
