‘Logan’: New Concept Art For Advanced Reaver Designs Released

Brand new 'Logan' concept illustrations from artist Edon Guraziu offer fans a look at unused advanced designs for the Reavers.

Over the weekend, concept artist Keith Christensen shared his unused Logan concept designs for the Reavers. Now, conceptual artist Edon Guraziu has shared his own concept illustrations for the Reavers, created when he was tasked with designing advanced prosthetics before director James Mangold opted for the more mechanical designs featured in the film. In an interview with Comicbook.com Gurazi, discussed his work and his approach to designing the prosthetics.

Guraziu discussed his approach to creating designs based on realistic technology with science fiction elements.

“Definitely. I made sure to take reference from current technological advancements and push them even further wherever I felt was necessary. It was a fun challenge to take current tech and develop them in an elegant way and let the robotic elements be less invasive to the form. This method achieved the desired aesthetic of natural and familiar shapes, while also keeping strong sci-fi and mechanical elements embedded.”
