Hugh Jackman’s final performance as Logan/Wolverine in Logan marked the end of an era for fans of all ages. Since 2000, Jackman has portrayed the role in every X-related film; except Deadpool, unless you count a cut-out picture of the actor. James Mangold’s Logan has been considered one of the best comic book films of all-time, and the movie has already begun its awards-run. Jackman and Dafne Keen – who stars as Logan’s biological daughter, Laura/X-23 – picked up the “Best Duo” award at tonight’s MTV Movie & TV Awards.
The two talented individuals beat out Daniel Kaluuya and Lil Rel Howery from Get Out as well as Josh Gad and Luke Evans from Disney’s Beauty & The Beast. The two thanked the fans in their acceptance speech, which – hopefully – begins a long-line of awards for both Jackman and the film itself.

Are you happy for the film’s success? Do you guys want to see Keen return to the X-Men world in a potential sequel? Let us know in the comments below!
In the near future, a weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) at a remote outpost on the Mexican border. His plan to hide from the outside world gets upended when he meets a young mutant (Dafne Keen) who is very much like him. Logan must now protect the girl and battle the dark forces that want to capture her.
