Hot on the heels of news that Donald Glover has signed on to join the cast of Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Prometheus actor Logan Marshall-Green is in talks to play a villain in the movie.

The actor joins the likes of Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier, Michael Barbieri and Kenneth Choi. The project will begin filming later this month in Atlanta under the direction of Cop Car helmer Jon Watts, so it’s safe to say that more cast members will be revealed soon.

Plot details are obviously being kept under wraps, but we know that Keaton will be bringing The Vulture to life in the movie. If a recent rumor regarding the villains of the movie is to be believed, Marshall-Green could be playing The Tinkerer, who will help Adrian Toomes build his Vulture suit with recovered Chitauri tech.

Marshall-Green recently delivered a fantastic performance in Karyn Kusama’s The Invitation. He will next be seen in Fernando Coimbra’s Sand Castle, which is currently in post-production. What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to seeing the actor in Spider-Man: Homecoming? Sound-off your thoughts in the comment section below.
