Next March we will say goodbye to Hugh Jackman’s Logan/Wolverine. From his first appearance in 2000’s X-Men (yeah, the film came out 16 years ago) to his most recent cameo in X-Men: Apocalypse, it is hard to deny Jackman’s sheer force in this genre. Since the release of 2013’s The Wolverine, many have wanted a “proper” Wolverine film; with an R-rating. Thanks to the success of Deadpool, the third and final Wolverine film will finally deliver on every fan’s dream. The upcoming film, Logan, screened its first 40 minutes today for press. The film’s trailer, set to Johnny Cash’s rendition of ‘Hurt,’ received acclaim when it hit a month ago. According to many of these reactions, fans should not expect a superhero movie come March, instead, a Western film. The movie is adapting components of Old Man Logan, but because of Marvel Studios’ some big changes have been made.
You can check out the awesome reactions below, including our very own, Leon Brill.

Zach Snyder wishes he could make a movie as dark and gritty as #Logan

And yes, @WolverineMovie embraces its R rating tenfold. The action is bloody, brutal & ridiculously badass. Be ready, #Wolverine fans! pic.twitter.com/ynArolZhMy

I loved every second of what we saw. It's different, it's brutal, and the girl, man. It's all about that little girl. https://t.co/qBwIDnRNMR

Just saw first act of #Logan. Wait til you guys meet Laura (X-23) — she steals every scene she is in.

X-23 absolutely steals the show. Best X-Men character since Deadpool. #Logan

Now, I don’t know about you, but that sounds incredible. Ever since my Dad forced me to watch The Good, The Bad and The Ugly as a child, I have always wanted a Western-inspired comic book film. Don’t mention Jonah Hex, that doesn’t count. Anyway, what do you guys think? Are you pumped for Logan?
Logan hits theatres everywhere on March 3rd, 2017.
