‘Loki’ Writer Michael Waldron Discusses Potential ‘Doctor Strange 2’ Connections

Multiverses on multiverses!

Loki Doctor Strange 2 Michael Waldron

Loki showrunner Michael Waldron discussed the potential Doctor Strange 2 connections that could come from the God of Mischief messing around with the multiverse.

One of the most anticipated movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has to be Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, primarily because of just how insane the title makes the premise sound. Doctor Strange 2 is co-written by Michael Waldron, who also serves as head writer for Loki, another Marvel property currently exploring the multiverse. With Waldron involved with both multiverse objects, it isn’t hard to imagine that one could easily lead into the next.

In an interview with Comicbook.com, Michael Waldron was asked if Tom Hiddleston’s Loki would directly lead into Doctor Strange 2.

“I think everybody will have a better idea of that when on the other end of it, I’ll just say that our charge and the goal from the beginning was telling a complete, thrilling story that can stand alone, and by the end of it, we’ll see what we blew the lid on.”

Loki is said to have the largest impact on the MCU than any other show released so far, so it wouldn’t be far out to imagine the series at least opening up some doors for Doctor Stange 2.
