New photos from the set of Marvel Studios’ Loki reveal Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson filming the upcoming series.
Marvel Studios’ line-up of phase 4 projects includes multiple television series’ for Disney Plus. Among the first to debut on the streaming service will be Loki, which stars Tom Hiddleston as the past version of the God of Mischief seen in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame, when our heroes traveled to the Battle of New York in 2012.
While full story details on the series are being kept under wraps, it is said to follow Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief as he travels through various points in time following his escape in Avengers: Endgame. His journey will seemingly see him cross paths with several new characters, including one portrayed by Owen Wilson.
Unfortunately, details on the identity of Owen Wilson’s character are also being closely guarded. However, new photos from the set of Loki offer fans a glimpse at Tom Hiddleston and co-star Owen Wilson filming a scene in which they appear to be escorted by armed guards.

Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate of films includes Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
Directed by Kate Herron with Michael Waldron serving as head writer, Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Loki will premiere exclusively on Disney Plus in early 2021.
