With Spider-Man: Homecoming now shooting in Atlanta, an announcement of a new Spider-Man game and Civil War finishing it’s run at the box office now awaiting home release, Spidey is on all of our minds! But let’s not forget the animated Spider-Man still coming our way from the undeniably talented duo of Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
The big question looming over us at this time is will the film star Peter Parker or Miles Morales? Well in an interview with IGN Lord and Miller couldn’t exactly talk about who will be in the film but they did say this;
“It is not going to feel like every other Spider-Man movie you’ve seen. It will stand on its own as a unique film-going experience. It’s wonderful and the people that are working on it are geniuses. It is unique. … People will love it.”
Lord and Miller might be some of the busiest people in Hollywood right now working on some of the biggest projects in pop culture. Not only do they have Spider-Man but they also wrote the story for Warner Brother’s DCEU Flash film and let’s not forget the still untitled Han Solo solo film! I don’t know whether to envy them for having such a strong creative influence right now or if I feel fortunate to not have such a significant workload (and I’ve only mentioned some of their movie projects, they’ve also got a whole lot of TV to their credit)!
