With Ezra Miller’s future as The Flash uncertain, X-Men star Lucas Till steps in and becomes the Scarlet Speedster in a new image.
Ezra Miller has been The Flash since 2014, making his debut as Barry Allen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice before reprising the role in Suicide Squad and Justice League. The actor was also set to star in a film focusing on The Flash, but it has gone through multiple hiccups. Spider-Man: Homecoming writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are currently on board to direct The Flash’s first cinematic solo outing. However, recent reports suggest Ezra Miller may be out of the role due to creative differences. Ezra Miller is reportedly writing his own version of The Flash movie with famed comic book writer Grant Morrison.
Unless he renewed it, Ezra Miller’s holding deal for The Flash expired last month and DC fans are already thinking about who could be the next Barry Allen. Lucas Till is one name that has been floated around among fans. Of course, Lucas Till is also no stranger to comic book projects, having played Havok in three X-Men films. Now, digital artist Dalton Barrett has shared an awesome piece that imagines Lucas Till as The Flash. You can see Lucas Till replace Ezra Miller as The Flash in the artwork below.
Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen was last seen in Justice League. The film ended with the character racing into action after defeating Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons with the help of the other Justice League heroes.
