The Mandalorian composer Ludwig Goransson is returning to the Star Wars franchise for The Book of Boba Fett series.
One of the biggest standouts from the first two seasons of The Mandalorian was Ludwig Goransson’s music, which has brought a whole new dimension to the musical language of Star Wars that was first established by the great John Williams a long time ago.
Boba Fett made his grand return in The Mandalorian season two and got a new theme created by composer Ludwig Goransson to go along with it. Since The Book of Boba Fett is on the horizon, Film Music Reporter reveals Goransson will also be part of the next live-action Star Wars series coming to Disney Plus.
The Book of Boba Fett is only a few months away, but very little is known about The Mandalorian spin-off. Besides Ludwig Goransson returning to score, we know that Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen will appear in the series with episodes directed by Robert Rodriguez, Jon Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Dave Filoni.
Here is the synopsis for The Mandalorian:
“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travels of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic….”
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Ming-Na Wen, Bill Burr, Timothy Olyphant, and Carl Weathers, with Rosario Dawson joining the series as Ahsoka Tano ahead of her spin-off series. The series was created by Jon Favreau and executive produced by Dave Filoni, with season two episodes also directed by Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peyton Reed, Carl Weathers, and Robert Rodriguez.
The Book of Boba Fett will arrive Christmas 2021 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the future of the Star Wars franchise, Ludwig Goransson, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
