Director M. Night Shyamalan is hard at work on his sequel to both Unbreakable and 2016’s Split. While we’ve gotten some updates, as well as a trailer at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer, there’s a lot of anticipation ahead of the next film in this series. And Shyamalan has been sure to keep fans aware of his plans on social media as he works behind the scenes on Glass.
In fact, he’s even done so today. As earlier on Twitter, M.Night Shyamalan took to his Twitter page to let fans know that he’s in the final editing stages for Glass. In a tweet sent out earlier this morning, he wrote: “In editing room for final week of @GlassMovie. Pass thirteen. Final cgi coming in, Last tiny trims, credits, last cues… getting emotional.”
Here, have a look at the tweet from the Glass director below:

So with final CGI coming in, could this mean a new trailer is on the way? Well, that’s just baseless speculation on my part, but perhaps between now and the film’s release in January, we could get another look? Maybe attached to a film coming out this holiday season. What do you think?

Glass is directed by M. Night Shyamalan and will star Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Spencer Treat Clark, Charlayne Woodard, James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Sarah Paulson. The film is set to hit theaters on January 18, 2019.
