Makeup artist Melanie Inglessis has backed up the assault story of Aquaman star Amber Heard by Fantastic Beasts actor Johnny Depp.
Earlier this month, Johnny Depp’s lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers and journalist Dan Wootton for an article in The Sun recently went to trial. Johhny Depp himself testified at the trial along with several other witnesses that painted the picture of a marriage that was, at best, toxic. But now Aquaman star Amber Heard is telling her version of events and has people who back up her story.
During her testimony, makeup artist Melanie Inglessis talked about one of the alleged worst encounters between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp.
“She said that Johnny and I had a fight.
The main thing that stuck in my mind about the incident on the bed was she said he tried to suffocate her with a pillow. She felt he tried to kill her that night. She said he dragged her by her hair. That’s what I remember.”
According to the makeup artist, she had to help the Aquaman actress cover-up bruises for her appearance on James Corden’s The Late Late Show in December 2015 and described the bruising:
“She had minimum discoloration on her eyes, on the inner corner of her eyes, by her nose.
I recall her left eye being a little more bruised than the right eye.
I remember the bridge of the nose being a little red and swollen. I remember a cut or scab on her lip.”
