In one of the most bizarre recent instances of life imitating art, a many got into an insane car chase with police while dressed up like Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker.
The whole thing is as odd as it sounds. Apparently, a man who was a passenger in a car dressed up like Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker ended up in a full blow car chase with the police. Details on how the chase started are still scarce but if the initial video is to be believed it probably had something to do with the man making obscene gestures at people while standing through a sunroof.
The pursuit ended in Venice Beach with the man in the Joaquin Phoenix Joker outfit collapsing on the ground with a crowd of people surrounding him. You can see the initial video of the pursuit and the end of it below:

From the look of things, someone was taking a practical joke a little to far!
Incidences like this are, of course, no laughing matter. Such things can lead to tragedy and can easily be a prime example of someone taking what they feel is a bit of fun a little too far. Hopefully, no one was hurt in this pursuit!
What do you all make of this story? Do you know of anyone who would pull a stunt like this? Should someone have told this guy not to do it before it all started? Let us know in the comments below!
Here is a plot synopsis for the upcoming Joaquin Phoenix Joker film:
“Joker” centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.
Directed by Todd Phillips from a script he co-wrote with Scott Silver, Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais, and Shea Whigham.
Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker will be released in theaters on October 4, 2019.
