Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn Is Joined By The Birds Of Prey In New Promo Image

A new Birds of Prey promotional image sees Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and her Hyena joined by the DC heroes.

Birds of Prey is less than four months away and promotion for the upcoming DC film is expected to pick up soon. The first trailer for Birds of Prey was revealed back in September, but a new trailer is speculated to drop at Brazil’s CCXP next month, where Margot Robbie and the cast will be present.

Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn was the breakout character in Suicide Squad, so it’s no surprise that she is all over the Birds of Prey marketing thus far. However, Harley Quinn is a villain and not usually associated with the Birds of Prey, so she many not stick with the team for long. Margot Robbie is also returning for The Suicide Squad, but it’s unclear how connected the James Gunn film will be to Birds of Prey. As Birds of Prey marketing ramps up, you can see Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn with the DC team behind her in a new promo image from Reddit.

Here is the official synopsis for Birds of Prey:

“You ever hear the one about the cop, the songbird, the psycho and the mafia princess? Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is a twisted tale told by Harley herself, as only Harley can tell it. When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis, and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz, put a target on a young girl named Cass, the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley, Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.”

Directed by Cathy Yan from a script penned by Bumblebee writer Christina Hodson, Birds of Prey stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, Ewan McGregor as Black Mask, and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Ali Wong, Robert Catrini, and Michael Masini have also been cast in undisclosed roles.

Birds of Prey will be released in theaters on February 7, 2020.
