Batman: The Animated Series star Mark Hamill suits up as The Joker for the upcoming Arrowverse crossoever event Crisis on Infinite Earths in this cool new piece of fan art.
The next Arrowverse crossover event is set to adapt the classic DC Comics storyline Crisis on Infinite Earths by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, with Batman: The Animated Series star Kevin Conroy on board as an older version of Bruce Wayne. Now, Conroy’s Batman co-star Mark Hamill is rumored to be playing The Joker in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The CW has yet to confirm if Mark Hamill is playing The Joker in the highly-anticipated Arrowverse crossover event, but fans are already creating artwork showing how the actor could look like as the iconic Batman villain. Earlier this week, Skull101ify posted a piece that features Mark Hamill fully suited up as The Joker, holding a gun towards the camera.

Mark Hamill is already a member of the Arrowverse, having played The Trickster in three episodes of Grant Gustin’s The Flash. The actor first brought the character to life in the Scarlet Speedster’s 1990 television series on CBS.
Crisis On Infinite Earths will span two quarters and consist of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. The Arrowverse crossover will launch with three episodes in December before concluding with two additional episodes in January.
Crisis on Infinite Earths has been teased since the very first episode of The Flash, where a newspaper headline from the year 2024 revealed the Barry Allen’s fate was to disappear during a “crisis.” However, the fifth season finale of The Flash accelerated this when the original newspaper headline changed the date of the event from 2024 to 2019. To add to this, the seventh season finale of Arrow set up Oliver Queen’s role in the next crossover by having him join the Monitor on a mission to warn other worlds of the crisis, as part of the arrangement the Emerald Archer made in order to save the lives of both The Flash and Supergirl.
In addition to the regular cast members of each Arrowverse series, Crisis on Infinite Earths will also feature appearances from Cress Williams’ Black Lightning, Jon Cryer’s Lex Luthor, Elizabeth Tulloch’s Lois Lane, Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman and Brandon Routh as Superman.
