Mark Hamill has another role in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker that has been revealed.

When fans sat down on opening night to see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, they were pleased to see Mark Hamill return to the role of Luke Skywalker. While Mark Hamill’s appearance as Luke in The Rise of Skywalker was a cameo at best, it was still a delight to see Mark Hamill reprise the iconic role one last time in a Star Wars film.

Lucky for us, Mark Hamill is a chameleon and had a second, secret role in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker that has now been revealed. In The Rise of Skywalker, Mark Hamill plays Boolio, a member of the Resistance who gives Finn and Poe a valuable piece of information against The First Order in the beginning of the film. Later in the film, Boolio’s decapitated head is shown at the hands of Kylo Ren.

Mark Hamill’s stint as Boolio is short and sweet, which meant not a lot of fans were able to decipher who exactly was voicing the character. Now that the world’s aware that Mark Hamill has another role in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, we’re sure repeat viewings will spike up. Interestingly enough, this piece of information wasn’t revealed sooner because Mark Hamill isn’t actually credited as Boolio in the closing credits. When it comes to cameos and voicing credits such as this, Mark Hamill prefers to use the pseudonym Patrick Williams, which is a a combination of his brother’s names.
