Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo took to Twitter this morning to wish his Avengers: Endgame co-star Chris Evans a happy birthday.
Avengers: Endgame may have been the final time we see certain characters together on screen. Following the departure of fan-favorite characters like Black Widow, Iron Man and Captain America, many fans are heartbroken. With three of the original six Avengers now gone, the Marvel Cinematic Universe and its fanbase are in a mourning period.
However, in the real world, it seems that the Avengers cast is feeling very positive. While it is upsetting to see such a great cast go theirseparate ways, it is always comforting to see that the cast members still care for one another. Recently, Marvel fans celebrated Chris Evans’ birthday, sending him wishes on social media. However, it isn’t just the fans celebrating as Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo jumped on Twitter to wish his longtime friend and co-star a happy birthday. You can check out the tweet below!
Happiest of birthdays to the fantastic @ChrisEvans 🥳🎂 Love you, Bro. Always there when you need him. Wishing you all the best today! pic.twitter.com/WJT2kbudN5

The camaraderie of the two actors is really something special. Having worked on four films together and seen each other fully come into their own, it is very nice to see that the Marvel family is stronger than ever. It seems that despite Chris Evans having departed the franchise, they are just as good of friends as they had been before.
While Chris Evans may have hung up the shield, the Marvel Cinematic Universe still has a place for Mark Ruffalo and the Hulk. Having seen Mark Ruffalo’s turn as Professor Hulk in Avengers: Endgame, there are now new possibilities for his character. Previously the Hulk was a dangerous, destructive force to be feared, but now it seems Professor Hulk may play a bigger role in the MCU moving forward.
One aspect of the Hulk that fans want to see is his relationship with Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross. After Ross was reintroduced to the MCU in Captain America: Civil War, fans have been dying to see the character and Bruce Banner share the screen. However, one of the most prominent ideas that fans have been pushing for is the introduction of the Thunderbolts.
The Thunderbolts team is Marvel’s equivalent of the Suicide Squad. Many have speculated that Ross’ re-introduction was a precursor to him putting together the Thunderbolts and leading them the way he does in the comics. Additionally, fans are hoping that Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner will play a role in the Thunderbolts movie, with many hoping that somehow Ross will become more like his comic book counterpart and transform into the Red Hulk.
