Avengers star Mark Ruffalo ponders over the possibility of The Hulk appearing in the upcoming She-Hulk series.
She-Hulk was announced as one of Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series back in August at the D23 Expo. Upon the announcement of a She-Hulk series, fans naturally speculated as to whether or not Mark Ruffalo would make an appearance on the series.
In a recent interview with Collider for his new film Dark Waters, Mark Ruffalo hinted that the possibilities are endless for the Hulk’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe both on the big and small screens:
“I would not rule [a She-Hulk appearance] out at this point. And I’m supposed to have a talk with Kevin Feige in the next couple of months. So you know, who knows? That’s how it all started. So that might turn into something.”
Either way, Mark Ruffalo is still set to meet with Kevin Feige regarding the future of the character in the franchise. Whether or not that entails an appearance in the She-Hulk series remains a mystery, but don’t be surprised if Mark Ruffalo appears onscreen with She-Hulk.
She-Hulk AKA Jennifer Susan Walters was created by Stan Lee and Josh Buscema. The character made her debut in Savage She-Hulk #1 on February 1980. In the comics, Jennifer Walters is a lawyer that suffers an injury and receives an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner. This leads to her becoming a milder version of Bruce Banner’s big green guy.
Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate of films includes Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to the aforementioned feature films, Marvel Studios is developing several shows for Disney Plus including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, What If…?, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk.
