Mark Ruffalo Teases New Direction For Thor & Hulk In ‘Ragnarok’

The first two movies in the Thor series were rather disappointing, but it seems like that’s about to change with Thor: Ragnarok. The movie will introduce a whole lot of new characters such as Valkyrie, Skurge and The Grandmaster, who will no doubt be fantastic additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially when we know that they will be played by some of the best actors working today.

The most exciting thing about the movie, however, is that we’re once again going to see the God of Thunder teaming up with The Hulk to stop the villainous Hela. Plus, if the rumors are true, we might even get a rematch between the two Avengers at some point during the movie, which is something that fans have been waiting to see ever since they last fought each other in The Avengers.

Speaking with E! Online at the premiere of Now You See Me 2, Mark Ruffalo teased as much as he possibly could about Ragnarok without going into spoiler territory:

“I haven’t started filming, but I’ve been prepping for it and I’m really excited about it. I think we’re going to do some really cool stuff. We’re going to see some new stuff with the Hulk. We’re going to see some new stuff with [Bruce] Banner. We’re definitely going to see some new stuff for poor old Thor.”

The actor then went on to talk about how excited he is to start working with director Taika Waititi next month once production begins in Australia:

“He’s amazing. It’s got a lot of heart and a lot of fun in it, so I’m excited to get started on that.”

What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to seeing what Waititi has in store for the two Avengers in Ragnarok? Sound-off your thoughts in the comment section below.
