Mark Ruffalo’s Throwback Image Helps Enforce Avengers Anti-Profanity Policy

Mark Ruffalo Russo Brothers Avengers Infinity War Marvel

Mark Ruffalo’s throwback prompted a stern reminder of the anti-profanity policy the Avengers have been desperately trying to enforce since Age of Ultron.

Before Mark Ruffalo was the green Avenger known as The Incredible Hulk, he was just a goofy kid with a mouth full of metal. When he showed this to the world, another Avenger got a little excited and said a bad word. This prompted the actor to remind Paul Bettany, who plays the Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that fellow Avenger Captain America (played by Chris Evans) is not a fan of that behavior. The fun back-and-forth can be seen for all to enjoy in the comments section of the funny post on Ruffalo’s Instagram feed. You can check out the post below.

Vision is totally right about how amazing those chompers are, but still, rules are rules. He better go wash his mouth out with soap and learn his lesson in time for Avengers 4 which is set to hit theaters next year.

Avengers 4 is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. Much of the cast of Infinity War is expected to return including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel as well as Pom Klementieff, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. Here’s the film’s synopsis:

“A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.”

Avengers 4 hits theaters May 3, 2019.
