New Trailer For ‘Marvel’s Daredevil’ Season 3 Teases Bullseye’s Debut

Marvel Daredevil Wilson Bethel Benjamin Poindexter Bullseye Netflix

Based on how The Defenders ended, right down to the very last shot, there were a few things you could assume going into the third season of Daredevil. For one, the series would be adapting elements from the “Born Again” storyline. Also…who could the series have an antagonist that hasn’t been done yet? They’ve done Wilson Fisk, Frank Castle, Elektra, The Hand…what about Bullseye? And indeed, not only is Bullseye coming to the third season of the Marvel Netflix series, but now we’ve got a trailer that gives us a look into the mind of Mr. Benjamin Poindexter.

As the trailer shows, Mr. Bullseye, played by Wilson Bethel, has played with lethal force before. Not uncommon in New York and especially in Hell’s Kitchen. But according to Poindexter, he’d be hailed as a hero if he wore a mask. Not completely un-true. Mr. Bullseye is a federal agent and the FBI helped keep him on the straight and narrow path, but now Mr. Poindexter is drowning. So what option is there than putting your expert aim to use? And we see just that in the Daredevil trailer as Bullseye goes into action.

And he does this by donning the outfit of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen and making pixel perfect aim of anything he tosses, and that includes tossing around the actual Devil of Hell’s Kitchen as the trailer showcases Bullseye and Matt Murdock going at it in a few rounds. Even Karen is left to cradle a bleeding Matt in the church in one scene.

Oh right, Karen. Well, if you know your comic history, you know that Karen Page crossing paths with Bullseye never ends well. And by the end of the trailer, we hear Bullseye call out to Karen. Will she suffer the same fate by Bullseye as her comic counterpart? Who can say? Have a look at the new Daredevil trailer in the video below.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming third season of Daredevil? And what hopes do you have for this new interpretation of Benjamin Poindexter? Let us know in the comments below.

Marvel’s Daredevil stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lesley Ann Warren, and Wilson Bethel. The third season will hit Netflix on Friday, October 19.
