Marvel’s Iron Man VR is flying onto PlayStation VR later this year.

During Sony’s first-ever State of Play conference on Monday, in which PlayStation previewed a handful of upcoming titles for their consoles, it was announced that Marvel’s Iron Man VR would be making its way onto PlayStation VR in 2019. During the presentation, PlayStation debuted video footage from the perspective of Tony Stark whilst inside the Iron Man armor as he rockets towards a jet plane that is falling out of the sky.

Marvel’s Iron Man VR is being developed by a game studio by the name of Camouflaj, in collaboration with PlayStation Worldwide Studios.

In a post on the official PlayStation blog, Camouflaj Director Ryan Payton let it be known that Marvel’s Iron Man VR would feature brand new, never-before-seen Iron Man armor:

“In close collaboration with our partners and friends at Marvel Games, Adi created a new armor that, like the game, mixes a classic comic book aesthetic with an ultra-modern twist.”

Additionally, PlayStation also dropped a description of the upcoming game, which you can read below:

“In ‘Marvel’s Iron Man VR’ the player, who plays as the genius inventor Tony Stark, confronts ghosts from his past—powerful forces who seek to ruin him and everything he stands for. By fully embracing the magic of PlayStation VR, players will come face-to-face with iconic allies and Super Villains as they jet around the globe on a heroic mission to save not only Stark Industries, but the world itself. We cannot wait to share more about how we are telling an original Iron Man story in a way that only virtual reality allows.”

As for the character of Tony Stark/Iron Man, his next appearance will be in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame, which hits theaters next month.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow, with Josh Brolin as Thanos.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
