Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige appears to have reviewed the script for Dark Phoenix, the next installment of the X-Men franchise at 20th Century Fox.
Simon Kinberg wrote the film for which he also makes his directorial debut as the franchise takes another stab at the Dark Phoenix saga, the comic book storyline where Jean Grey struggled to control and succumbed to the Phoenix Force within.
While the Disney-Fox merger is set for 2019, the X-Men project will very likely be one of the last movies set in Fox’s original shared universe at the studio before Feige begins to oversee the franchise at Fox, in addition to his current responsibilities as Marvel Studios president. But according to CCXP 18 attendees, Feige reviewed the script for Dark Phoenix as well as the film’s tone:
Confirmation that @jes_chastain is indeed a character not from Earth. Also that no connection or hint to the MCU, although Feige reviewed the script and tone.#XMen #DarkPhoenix pic.twitter.com/gWHSQg75bR

In addition to directing, Kinberg is also producing the film with Hutch Parker and Lauren Schuler Donner. Kinberg himself has been involved with the franchise for just over a decade, having written the main installments of the ongoing film series since The Last Stand with the exception of X-Men: First Class. He also produced Deadpool 2 and is producing The New Mutants.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix is directed by Simon Kinberg and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain.
“In DARK PHOENIX, the X-MEN face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey. During a rescue mission in space, Jean is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, this force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable. Wrestling with this entity inside her, Jean unleashes her powers in ways she can neither comprehend nor contain. With Jean spiraling out of control, and hurting the ones she loves most, she begins to unravel the very fabric that holds the X-Men together. Now, with this family falling apart, they must find a way to unite — not only to save Jean’s soul, but to save our very planet from aliens who wish to weaponize this force and rule the galaxy.”
The film is set to hit theaters on June 7, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the future of the X-Men franchise as we learn it.

Fortunately, the original Avengers teammates survived Thanos’ decimation and it appears they will be joined by a few the new heroes who debuted since the group initially formed when they head into the second showdown with Thanos.
Iron Man
Captain America

Black Widow

Thor

Nebula

Ronin

Ant-Man
After the mid-credits scene for Ant-Man and the Wasp, many were theorizing that the Avengers would have to rescue Scott Lang from the Quantum Realm and subsequently use the alternate dimension to travel back in time to defeat Thanos. While it appears Scott Lang managed to escape on his own, he may have brought the van containing the way to the Quantum Realm to the Avengers’ front door.
Bruce Banner
While the Hulk was absent from the first Avengers: Endgame trailer, Bruce Banner managed to make a brief appearance. The brilliant scientist could be seen assessing the list of casualties of Thanos’ decimation and it has clearly taken an emotional toll.
