Marvel is reportedly looking to start production in July for the She-Hulk Disney Plus series.
A new report suggests that Marvel’s She-Hulk is looking to begin production in July, although it currently doesn’t have a release date for Disney Plus. Marvel’s She-Hulk is also yet to announce who will be starring as Jennifer Walters, or any of the supporting cast surrounding the hero. Although there were reports last year that Mark Ruffalo will meet with Kevin Feige about cameoing in Marvel’s She-Hulk for Disney Plus , presumably as part of Jennifer Walters’ origin story.
According to ComicBook, a production notice revealed that Marvel’s She-Hulk will begin filming in Atlanta in July later this year. With WandaVision and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier currently filming, it seems like Marvel fans will be spoilt for choice on Disney Plus over the coming year with She-Hulk also going into production. It would also make sense that a casting announcement for the Disney Plus series should also arrive in the next few months now that a production date has been set.

In the comics, She-Hulk is the alter-ego of Jennifer Walters, a private attorney and the cousin of Bruce Banner. After being shot, Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion from Bruce that transforms her into the gamma-powered She-Hulk. However, unlike most incarnations of Bruce Banner’s Hulk, Jennifer Walters retains her sharp wit and emotional control in her She-Hulk form, which later becomes permanent.
Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate of films includes Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to the aforementioned feature films, Marvel Studios is developing several shows for Disney Plus, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, What If…?, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk.
