Marvel Studios has debuted the first logos for the Disney Plus series I Am Groot and Iron Heart.
The inaugural Disney Plus Day was quite eventful, filled with first looks and reveals for projects all across Disney’s various, expansive brands. However, Marvel Studios was the obvious MVP of the event, dropping tons of first looks at anticipated projects like Moon Knight. The studio also announced tons of new projects like a Marvel Zombies animated series, a spin-off from What If…?
The studio also released new logos for some already announced series like I Am Groot and Iron Heart.
The I Am Groot animated series will show Baby Groot in his infancy as he gets up to various adventures and goofs around with the Guardians of the Galaxy. The series will likely debut later next year. It remains unclear if Vin Diesel and other members from the film series will return to voice their respective characters.
Details are slim on Iron Heart, though we do know that the character will debut in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Dominique Thorne stars as Riri Williams, the character who eventually goes on the create the Iron Hear suit.
Here is the synopsis for Marvel Studios’ next series, Hawkeye:
“Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.”
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh is expected to return in her Black Widow role.
