Marvel Studios won’t try to replace Stan Lee’s cameos in future movies with someone else says Executive Vice-President of Production Victoria Alonso.

While fans will always miss Stan Lee’s cameos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are no plans to replace him with someone else going forward into future movies. Stan Lee’s cameos have been one of the best running gags in the franchise, with fans particularly loving his role as a Watcher in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2. But Marvel Studios won’t give Stan Lee’s cameo slot over to another character or real-life figure going into future movies.

Victoria Alonso said in an interview with Miami Latin News that Marvel Studios would never try to replace Stan Lee with someone else in future movies. She noted that there are other incredible creatives at Marvel Studios, but “there’s only one Stan Lee.” Fans already noticed the legend’s absence in Spider-Man: Far From Home, but Stan Lee’s cameo slot won’t be filled by someone else.  Take a look what Victoria Alonso had to say below.

“Stan Lee is not replaceable. So we will never try. That is the legend, the man, we will never try to replace him. Other people will come around, and then you have someone as phenomenally creative as [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige, but there’s only one Stan Lee.”

Are you glad Marvel Studios won’t replace Stan Lee’s cameos in future movies? Do you think another character or figure should regularly cameo in the MCU? Sound off in the comments below!
