Marvel’s Avengers is set to debut brand new trailers and gameplay from the upcoming Crystal Dynamics game during a special streaming event next month.
Fans may have just gotten a trailer last month but earlier today, Marvel Entertainment and Crystal Dynamics announced the Avengers War Table stream event, set for June 24, with a sneak peek of the upcoming event. The stream will feature brand new trailers as well as a new look at co-op gameplay and story missions from the upcoming game.
In addition to teasing the upcoming streaming event, the sneak peek also thanked fans for their continued excitement for the game, while assuring worried fans the team is working hard from home in order to meet its current release date amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Marvel’s Avengers was originally scheduled to release on May 15, 2020, however, the game was delayed earlier this year to September 4, 2020, in order to allow more time to polish the game and deliver the kind of experience fans expect.

Here is the official synopsis for Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel’s Avengers:
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
