Army of the Dead star Matthias Schweighofer has joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer.

Matthias Schweighofer was a breakout star in Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead for Netflix and directed the prequel, Army of Thieves. According to Deadline, Schweighofer has found his next project, joining the latest film from Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer.

Army of the Dead‘s Matthias Schweighofer joins a massive cast list of notables for Oppenheimer, which includes Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss, Matt Damon as Leslie Groves Jr., Emily Blunt as Kitty Oppenheimer, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, Matthew Modine, Alden Ehrenreich, David Krumholtz, Kenneth Branagh, Jason Clarke, David Distmalchian, and Josh Peck. There are currently no details on who Schweighofer will portray in the Universal film.

The upcoming film is based on American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer. Filming on the project is underway.

Here’s the synopsis for the director’s last film, Tenet:

Armed with only one word—Tenet—and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time. Not time travel. Inversion.

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, and Himesh Patel. Christopher Nolan also serves as a producer alongside his wife Emma Thomas, with Thomas Hayslip as an executive producer.
