A new Supergirl season five promo for an upcoming episode directed by Melissa Benoist reveals that it’s been pushed back to a new air date.
The Batman and Wonder Woman 1984 aren’t the only DC projects that have been affected by the coronavirus. The CW has had to shift the release dates for the upcoming Arrowverse episodes after productions were put on hold last month. Supergirl was in the middle of filming its season finale and there’s no telling when production will resume. Supergirl was originally going to return on Sunday, April 26 alongside Batwoman.
The CW recently released a new promo for the next Supergirl episode, which marks the directorial debut of Melissa Benoist. The promo reveals the series will now return on Sunday, May 3. The promo also highlights that the episode will see the return of Jon Cryer’s Lex Luthor. You can watch the brand-new Supergirl promo below.
