A new look at Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, and Elisabeth Moss from the Vertigo Comics adaptation of The Kitchen has been released.
Shazam! and Joker are not the only films coming from DC Entertainment this year, with Warner Bros. also releasing The Kitchen, based on the Vertigo comic book series from writer Ollie Masters and artist Ming Doyle. A new image from the 70s crime drama has been released by USA Today, featuring the star-studded leads of McCarthy’s Kathy, Haddish’s Ruby O’Carroll, and Moss’ Claire Walsh as they take over the Irish mob in Hell’s Kitchen. The film also stars notables such as Star Wars‘ Domhnall Gleeson, Suicide Squad‘s Common, and Joker‘s Bill Camp.

Based on the Vertigo comic book series from DC Entertainment, the film stars Oscar
nominee Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss as three 1978 Hell’s Kitchen housewives whose mobster husbands are sent to prison by the FBI. Left with little but a sharp ax to grind, the ladies take the Irish mafia’s matters into their own hands—proving unexpectedly adept at everything from running the rackets to taking out the competition…literally.
Written and directed by Andrea Berloff, The Kitchen stars Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, Elisabeth Moss, Domhnall Gleeson, Common, and Bill Camp.
The Kitchen will be released in theaters on September 20, 2019, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
