Creed star Michael B Jordan recently weighed in on the chances that he’ll return to his Killmonger role in Black Panther 2.
In the last decade, Michael B Jordan has quickly become one of the biggest stars on the planet, starring in everything from Chronicle to Creed, with appearances in Fantastic Four and shows like Raising Dion. But one of his most popular performances came in Black Panther as Erik Killmonger, with the villain having genuinely understandable motivations in the story. And now the star has briefly discussed whether he could return to the character in Black Panther 2.
During a recent interview on Sirius XM, Michael B Jordan was asked on a scale of 1-10 on the likelihood of a Killmonger return to Black Panther 2 (now confirmed to be titled Wakanda Forever). The star rated his chances as 2/10. He explained that he doesn’t know much about the script aside from the fact that it will somehow reflect on the death of Chadwick Boseman. Take a look below.
“I didn’t want to go with zero, you know what I mean? And it’s like, you know, never say never, you know, I can’t predict the future. So I mean, it’s ‘Black Panther 2’. The two, I just figured two would be like, two sounds okay, I guess…all I know is that they’re developing a script that, you know, is a reflection of a lot of circumstances and tragedy that we had to deal with this past year.”
What do you make of Michael B Jordan’s comments? Would you like to see him return to play Killmonger again? Are you excited to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? Sound-off in the comments below!

Faced with treachery and danger, he must release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
